Social league play with an emphasis on learning the basics of the game, general strategy and expectations of each position. Experienced club members are expected to mentor and help the growth of their less experienced teammates.
Team Standings are based on record (3 points per win, 2 points per tie, 1 point per loss, 0 points per forfeit) and, pending availability, playoffs and/or a championship game are played each season.
Ocean State Curling Club is dedicated to the enjoyment, fellowship, and promotion of curling in Rhode Island. We believe in building a strong community through the sport of curling by providing a welcoming environment for athletes of all ages and skill levels, creating the opportunity to improve skills while having fun.
