With the cooperation of the Alex & Ani City Center ice rink, the Ocean State Curling Club is proud to announce that it will hold an Outdoor Curling Demonstration on Saturday, February 6th from 8AM to 10AM.

Held in conjunction with Coaches Vs. Cancer, the curling club has decided to donate proceeds from the curling demonstration to The Izzy Foundation, a RI charity which provides services and support to those families with children who have debilitating diseases. The Foundation hopes to help families live, love, laugh and play.

Curling is a sport in which anyone, of any age, can participate. Nobody is too young or too old.

Come watch, learn and throw a stone or two. Instructors will be available to teach you how to throw a stone and guide you through the sweeping process. You’ve seen curling on the Olympics—why not come into the City Center and try it out.

Voluntary contributions will be accepted and donated to the Izzy Foundation.
